If you can access your account
Please use the normal path through your account:
- Open the installed Athletic-AI app and sign in if you are not already signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Open the account settings at the bottom.
- Choose “Delete account” and confirm the notices.
If the app is no longer installed
Even after uninstalling the app, your login credentials initially still exist. You can therefore start account deletion through the Fitness Portal:
- Open athletic-ai.de and sign in to the Fitness Portal using the login in the header or footer.
- After signing in, use the “Open app” button in the header or footer to enter the web app.
- Open the settings area at the bottom.
- Go to the account settings and choose “Delete account”.
If you can no longer sign in
If you no longer have access to your account, you can also request account deletion by email.
- Please send an email from the email address registered with your Athletic-AI account to info@athletic-ai.de.
- Please use “Delete account” as the subject.
- Include your username or the email address of your account in the email.
- We will review the request and initiate deletion of your account.
What happens after confirmation?
Once you confirm deletion, the account deletion is scheduled and your account is deactivated.
- You then have 30 days to reactivate your account.
- After these 30 days, the account is permanently deleted or anonymized.
- Reactivating the account within 30 days does not automatically restore a previously ended subscription or Premium period.
What will be deleted or anonymized?
After the 30-day period, your personal data is deleted or anonymized unless legal retention obligations apply.
- your user account and login access
- personal profile data
- associated app data such as nutrition, training, body and progress data
- tax or billing-relevant data related to paid subscriptions is retained only to the legally required extent
- all other personal data is deleted or anonymized
Important note for paid subscriptions
If a paid Athletic-AI subscription is linked to your account, please follow the instructions shown in the deletion dialog. Depending on the payment method, you may also need to manage or cancel the subscription in the relevant app store or payment service.
